What are the requirements to become an Esthetician?

Estheticians must conform to the applicable rules that can allow them to exercitate their domain of activity in one way or another. In general every state has a cosmetology board which sets the rules for estheticians to apply in order to be able to work in their field. However, these rules differ from one state to another, depending on the particular laws that apply in that certain state. For example in Nevada, to become an esthetician you must complete 600 hours of training in order to be accredited as an esthetician. However, the number of hours may be greater, depending on the actual state envisaged and especially depending on the specific laws applied in that certain state. The esthetician license can be obtained in different grades, as there are various types of license, for the apprentice level, for the basic and for the master esthetician. It is up to the candidate for this kind of job whether to keep n his training activities and reach the level of master esthetician. However, may consider this as very important while other resume to the level of basic, as they find this work satisfying enough to continue working in this field in a basic level.
